Technicians have managed to restore all electricity except to the library, which happens to be where the servers for the campus are located. According to an announcement, there is “No internet, no network services, no website, no WiFi and no telephones on campus.”

Furthermore, “the computer network and telephone system will not be restored until over the weekend, student services will be offered in a limited capacity, and classes in the library will be relocated.”

Classes on Friday will be held as scheduled.

Since the college’s website is down, updates to students and staff are coming through Facebook and a special blog set up just for this occasion. More than 7,000 people have followed the blog since Tuesday, indicating how far-reaching the impact of the outage has been.
