Memorial Day is a time when many Martinez residents hit the road for a three-day adventure. But for those of you remaining behind, here is a list of things that will be closed on Monday.
Martinez City Hall will be closed Monday.
All local libraries are closed Sunday and Monday.
U.S. Post Offices: closed Monday. Automated Postal Centers will be open for buying stamps and mailing letters or packages. Find locations online here.
There is also no school Monday.
Police and fire departments will be responding to calls but administrative offices will be closed Monday.
BART will be running a Sunday service on Memorial Day. Get the schedule here.

The city's Memorial Day observance will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Alhambra Cemetery.
