Burglars Hit More Martinez Homes

Three more homes were targeted.

It continues to be a rough week for Martinez residents, as three more homes were burglarized.

  • A resident on Vista Oaks Drive returned home around 6 p.m. Wednesday and found the front door open. The burglars got into the home by busting out a window. Two TVs and other items were taken.
  • On Buena Vida Court a mountain bike worth $3600 was stolen from an open garage. The discovery was made just before 7 a.m.
  • On Berrellesa Street a water heater and copper piping was stolen.

A man reported that someone cut the fuel line on his vehicle as it sat in his driveway. The vandalism happened on Endriss Drive.

And another reminder to obey the ‘No Parking’ signs near the pool. Five vehicles received parking tickets on Buckley Street Wednesday.
