National NIght Out

National Night Out is an annual event held across North America on the first Tuesday in August. It is an opportunity to come out and meet with neighbors, residents and your local police department to strengthen community cohesiveness and crime resistance. This is the thirty year anniversary of NNO and this year Martinez CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) members will be on hand to provide information on upcoming emergency preparedness classes starting in September. Both Rankin Park and Les Schwab Tires will have food and entertainment. Rankin Park will also have public safety equipment on display and a CERT cribbing demonstration. Come out, enjoy the fun and bring the family.
