Schwartz was a contestant on the show on May 14, and played the game deftly. She guessed the price of two out of three items correctly, thereby giving her two shots at spelling the word 'car' correctly. Host Drew Carey had already given her two free cards.
Schwartz then declined his offer of $4,000, opting instead to see if the four cards spelled out 'car.' The first card was an 'a,' the second an 'r.' The third card was also an 'r,' but Schwartz declined Carey's offer of $1,000 to quit, and the final card was a 'c.'
That meant that Schwartz won the grand prize, a (say it with me) brand! new! car!
