Are you ready to celebrate? Here's your schedule for Martinez events.

America is celebrating 237 years of independence this 4th of July and Martinez is throwing quite a birthday bash. It begins with breakfast and ends with fireworks.

Here’s a schedule of the day’s events:

  • 8-10 am – Pancake Breakfast, 627 Main St. ($7 adults; $4 children)
  • 9 am-9:15 am – Flag Raising Ceremony at the Veterans Memorial Building, 930 Ward St.
  • 10 am – Hometown Parade on Main Street. Parade begins at Court & Main and ends at Alhambra & Main.
  • 9:30-ish p.m. Fireworks at dark over the waterfront
