I think they should limit it to Zero times per week. I think they should eliminate tacklingRead More altogether and I think any defensive player to get to close to the QB should get flagged for 15 and have to play a game of pattycake before the next play. Better yet, just get rid of football an make them all play soccer.

When I boxed in high school, daily sparring was limited to power punches to the body. We saved theRead More rough stuff for our lunch time bouts and fight night. These kids are going to need their brains. Allowing your kid to have their bell rung on a regular basis is not good parenting in my book.

Tim, there are many head injuries in soccer as well. I don't know the answer, but saying forgetRead More football, have them play soccer instead, is probably not.

It is a bit of a quantum leap to equate a rich celebrity cheating on their wife with some other goodRead More looking female who is either a willing sex partner, or a gold digger looking for a pay day, with a rapist. Rape is usually about revenge, power, anger, payback, etc. Tiger Woods and the others had sex with a lot of other good looking women because they could. Apples and oranges. And just curious Bob the dentist, how are you such an expert on rape? You admit to never having been raped, yet you are so quick to opine that just because somebody finds her story to have some credibility issues, you assume they are chauvinistic, misogynistic, and uneducated? Or have we arrived at the point where any female who makes an allegation should automatically be believed?

Desert Rat....Let me clarify..I am not equating rape with high risk sex...I was only saying thatRead More many men, in the celebrity life and otherwise, will risk everything, their careers, etc., to have sex....be it consensual or non consensual. As far as assuming that the women is telling the truth...I have no idea....without more info it would be presumptuous of me to assume anything...it is true, however, that many many men get away with rape, mostly recently Jameis Winston...the evidence against is hard to refute.....I would guess that very few rapes get reported as a percentage of total rapes...the statistics bare this out...and even fewer rapes, still, are prosecuted...thus, not too much fear of any athlete being sent to jail for rape. Mike Tyson is the only one I can think of though I am sure there must be others....

Fandom at it's best. The A's ranked 7th in operating income, but 26th in revenues, managing theirRead More costs effectively, which includes salaries and rent. Must be running on a pretty sweet deal with the Coliseum a year ago to have those sweet bottomline results. The Giants are 3rd in income and 3rd in revenues. 5th in total value at 1 billion. Giants are pretty effectively managing the product on the field as well as the business side. Business, the Giants are pretty cutthroat comparing them with the Haas family when they gave up the territorial rights for the "good of baseball" Haas screwed up, should have just managed his bottomline and worried about the A's. Giants have done it right, built their own park, created their own area, their own identity, that's how a business is managed and runned effectively. Having the A's around will eat into profits, so with the A's out of the area, means even more value to the Giants. When the Haas put the A's up for sale in the late 90's Norcal SuperMarket magnet Bob Piccinnini had his hat in the ring to purchase the A's, the Giants didn't want him. A Giants rep told him he'd be great for MLB, just not in Oakland. Piccinnini's Norcal ties pretty much told the Giants that the A's would fight for every dollar to build a stadium locally. So MLB declined Piccinnini's bid. He eventually got minority interest in the Padres. The Giants have a 20 year headstart with At & T, no reason why the A's can't catch up with Clorox Field. Yahoo money, google money, facebook money, twitter money....isn't far away. Even look at the Warriors, their contract with Kaiser ends when....drumroll....2018, just in time for the Warriors to sign a new deal with the numerous health providers with in a stones throw of their proposed arena in Mission Bay.

Those are fine word Gaia, but this falsely accusing innocent men has got to stop. Thank God forRead More Kaepernick he was rich and famous. I mean what if the guy would have been poor or worse yet what if a white girl accuses a black guy. Personally this type of behavior and American Phenomenon scares the bajesus out of me as a black man. Now that she has done such a dastardly misdeed, my opinion about other cases such as MIke Tyson, Kobe Bryant, Clarence Thomas; if I had a little doubt about their innocence before has grown bigger.

I'm sorry, where in the article does it say she accused anyone of rape? Does it say it in the policeRead More report? I don't know what the TMZ article claimed, but surely the woman in the hospital isn't responsible for what some rag runs, claiming to be the truth. Fact is, none of us except the participants know what happened, and I don't get from what I've read that the woman accused anyone of anything...
