Contra Costa Regional Medical Center

<p>This full-service hospital is owned and operated by the county and is considered a state of the art facility. Opened in 1996, this architecturally modern hospital has 164 beds, over 1,000 employees including nearly 300 nurses and a full array of medical services. This includes emergency medical and psychiatric units, critical care, cardiopulmonary care, perinatal, pediatrics, phsyciatric and physical therapy.</p> <p>Because it is a county facility, the Regional Medical Center fully cares for all patients, regardless of ability to pay.</p>
