Sage the City Project: Prayer Flags

Each prayer flag you see around town has one word on it. We choose a word that is Universal to all spiritual paths. Love, joy, peace, compassion, mercy, healing, joy... etc are some of the magical words we use to ground healing intentions to the people who live here and the land we call home.

Each color has its own healing properties as well. The color this week is blue. Blue is a calming, comforting un-confrontational color. Blue represents truth, honesty and open communication. The blue color meaning also shows clarity, cleansing, healing and protective qualities. Using this color, whether wearing it or lighting candles of this color or decorating an entire room with it draws an increase in wisdom, harmony, peace and the ability to communicate effectively.
