NEW OPERATING HOURS 9:00 am until 2:00 pm

Effective May 6, 2012

Come join us every Sunday at the Walnut Creek Farmer's Market. Located on Locust Street behind Growers Square. Plenty of free parking at the Growers Square parking garage located on Cole Street (enter from N. California Blvd.).

Here you will find the best of what California farmers have to offer, year-round and in season. Along with the best produce you can also find artisan cheese, fresh baked breads and pastries, fresh fish and grass fed beef. There is entertainment for the little ones, facepainting and balloons and live music in two locations. We have a wide selection ready-to-eat foods: Afghan Bolani, Falafel, old-fashioned slow smoked barbecue and authentic Mexican food, to name just a few.

Come on down on Sunday mornings and connect with the community. You'll want to make it a healthy habit.

Oakland has better farmers markets on Sundays with nice nice extra nice produce to stock up on for the week with a children not requiring leashes in public so adults can visit together over wonderful coffee from malt shop ..

Walnut Creek Certified Organic Farmers Market is the BEST. Been going there for decades but have visited a lot of other farmers markets too. Walnut Creek is a real "community" atmosphere with helpful vendors who love to share cooking tips and recipes, the kids (of all ages) love the live music, and it's like a big huge family party. See ya there!

I love the knife sharpener guy - great work and better prices!
