Martinez Teacher In The Running For County Teacher Of The Year

Dr. Rona Zollinger of New Leaf: A Sustainable Living Collaborative is one of three candidates - the winner will be announced tomorrow (Thursday) night.

Dr. Rona Zollinger of New Leaf: A Sustainable Living Academy, part of Vicente High School, is one of three candidates in the running to be selected as the Contra Costa County Teacher of the Year. The winner will be announced at the annual dinner celebration tomorrow (Thursday) night. 

Dr. Zollinger was chosen to be this year's Martinez Teacher of the Year. She was among those selected from the county's 8,000 teachers to be chosen as tne county Teacher of the Year. The other two teachers are Mona Keller, from the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, and Terryl Miller of Moraga.
