This workshop explores the steps necessary for a successful transition and experience in kindergarten.
Participants will view life through the eyes of kindergarten children and engage in conversations with other parents and teachers about home-based strategies that promote school readiness.
Attendees will receive a step-by-step interactive guide, A Road Map to Kindergarten, developed by the Contra Costa County Office of Education and a calendar full of easy to implement, practical ideas to prepare children for the exciting kindergarten journey.
This workshop is for parents of children who turning 5 after September 1, 2012.
