Basic Aid Training for Kids

Children 3rd through 5th grades are invited to learn how to recognize emergencies, perform rescue breathing, treat choking and handle bleeding. The class will cover fire safety, swimming safety and what to do if lost. Students will practice  CPR on mannequins, participate in first aid relays and more. BAT meets the requirement for Webelo Readyman Badge and the Girl Scout first aid badge. This is an American Red Cross course.

Snacks, books and equipment are provided. Each child will receive a certificate upon completion. This is a Martinez USD minimum-day class.
