Alhambra Grad Robert Stephenson Signs With Cincinnati Reds

The deal, which was concluded last week, reportedly includes a $2 million bonus.

, who graduated from Alhambra High last year as one of the state's top baseball players, has signed on as a pitcher with the Cincinnati Reds.

According to MLB.com, Stephenson received a $2 million bonus to sign with the team. The deal was signed just before the midnight deadline on Monday, Aug. 15. He was the 27th overall draft pick.
