Rental Rates For Homes and Condos In Martinez

Here are the median rents for one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom and four bedroom residences

If you are looking for a rental unit in Martinez, be prepared to pay between $1,200 and $3,100 a month, depending on what you need.

The median monthly rent right now in Martinez for all sizes of condominiums and homes listed through real estate agencies is about $1,400, according to the multiple listing sources that local agents use. It does not include owner listings on sites such as craigslist.

Here are the median rents in Martinez for different size residences.

1 Bedroom:  $1,200
2 Bedroom:  $1,425
3 Bedroom:  $2,100
4 Bedroom:  $3,100

An example is the three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouse at 344 Lake Reed Court. The 1,686-square-foot unit is listed as renting for $2,195 a month.

Rachael Hand, a broker associate with Coldwell Banker, said rents are on the rise in part because people who have gone through short sales and foreclosures are renting because they cannot currently qualify for a home loan.

I have found it's very hard to find a parking spot there. Another negative is the number of theRead More "constant outsdoorsmen" types lurking all around. I've been confronted several times and worried about leaving my car there.

I am happy to know that Mr. Behan's review of "STID" is now available. Might we knowRead More where it is available? Perhaps I am just an Apple lovin' technopeasant, but despite my frantic serial clicking on text without links, I could not find the actual story. Alas and alack I may never know why there is no darkness in "...Into Darkness" (or Lightness). Oh, and welcome back Jim!

The main reason I don't go to any of the businesses downtown is the lack of parking. What littleRead More there is is taken up by the owners of these establishments. God forbid they park somewhere else less convenient so actual paying customers can frequent their businesses.
