Today, the City of Martinez announced the resignation of City Manager, Philip Vince. Mr. Vince started with the City in 2008 and during his tenure as City Manager he helped the City through challenging financial times. Also under his leadership, the renovation of the Rankin Aquatic Center was completed, the main public library was remodeled and parks throughout the City were renovated giving Martizians greater access to public space. The City Council wishes Mr. Vince well and thanks him for his years of service to the City.
