Woman Assaulted On Blum Road

Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a 6-foot man in a black hoodie.

A 35-year-old woman was assaulted Friday morning on the 4800 block of Blum Road.

According to the Sheriff's Department, The woman was walking into her apartment complex when she heard footsteps. When she turned to see who was behind her, she was struck in the head with a blunt object.

She made it to a friend's house, where an ambulance was called. She was treated in county hospital for head injuries, and is reported to be in stable condition.

Deputies searched the area but failed to find any suspects. There is no motive as yet, and deputies are seeking a man of unknown race, about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark jeans and a white mask.
