Vigil Tonight For Missing Teen

Montrell Harrell, described as mentally disabled, has been missing since Sunday morning.


Montrell Harrell, 18, has been missing since Sunday morning, when he was last seen at Mt. Diablo State Park.

Harrell, who is mentally disabled, was reportedly agitated after a phone call from his birth mother and did not take his medication. He disappeared between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Sunday. The rangers office has been searching for him and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department launched an investigation late Sunday night.

A candlelight vigil will be held for Harrell on Monday at 8 p.m. at Alhambra High School.

Harrell is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound black man. He was last seen wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
