UPDATE: BART Resumes Service Between East Bay and San Francisco
UPDATE: BART trains were stopped systemwide for about an hour Tuesday because of a person on the tracks in Oakland, an agency spokeswoman said.
The person was reported on the tracks at 11:11 a.m. between the 12th Street Oakland City Center and West Oakland stations, BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost said.
BART crews shut off power to the tracks near the West Oakland station until the person was taken into custody at 12:14 p.m., Trost said.
