Theft From Cars, Slamming Doors, and Donut Spinners

October 4
Theft from vehicle – A laptop was stolen from a locked car on Estudillo Street.
Theft from vehicle – Some tools were stolen from an unlocked car on Condor Drive.

Found property – A purse was found at the corner of Brown Street and Alhamba Avenue, and turned in to the police.
Gang banging – A group of a dozen juveniles were reported riding their bikes and banging on garbage cans on the tennis courts at Center Avenue and Glacier Drive.

Stolen car – A truck with a white camper shell was stolen from the Kaiser Permanente Medical Offices parking lot on Center Aveue.
Injury accident – A 15-year-old boy was hit by a car on Alhambra Way. The car left the scene and the boy sustained a leg injury.
October 6
Freeway walker – A woman was reported walking in the middle of southbound Highway 4 shortly after midnight. She was gone by the time police arrived.
Closure – A resident of apartments on Blue Ridge Drive reported someone in a neighboring apartment was slamming doors.
Chip off the old? – A block was reported thrown through a window on Arnold Drive.
Burglary – A resident of Hidden Oaks Court reported that a man was seen leaving a home with a black bag as the alarm went off, and got into a car with a female who then drove off.
Pet threat – A woman on Church Street reported that she was walking her dog when a man in a red pickup truck threatened to shoot the dog, before driving away.
Fence damage – 12 juveniles were reported trying to remove the fence from the skate park at Shoreline Regional Park.
Donut spinners – A group of up to eight men were reported taking turns in a blue truck and while truck doing donuts in the Marina parking lot.
October 7
Burglary – A home on Via Pinada had a door kicked in and $4,000 in cash stolen.
Cash found – A very honest resident found $600 in cash in the middle of Gregory Avenue and La Salle Street, and turned it in to the police.
October 8
Road nap – A mattress was reported on Alhambra Avenue.
Tiny problem – A minibike was reported speeding up and down Geneva Street by F Street.
