Suspects In Knife Assault Turn Themselves In

Jacob and Jackie Lerman are both in county jail after surrendering to police Monday.

Two suspects wanted in connection with the stabbing of a woman on the 900 block of Court St. Aug. 25 turned themselves in on Monday and are being held in county jail, police say.

Jacob Scott Lerman is being held on $1,350,000 bail, and Jackie Lee Lerman is being held on $55,000 bail.

Both suspects were being sought by police after a woman walked into Contra Costa Regional Medical Center on Alhambra Ave. about 3 a.m. with multiple stab wounds and facial trauma. Police served a warrant on the Court St. home several hours later, but no one was there.
