Reminder: Drug Take-Back Is Saturday in Martinez

The Contra Costa Sheriff's Office is participating in the sixth National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Saturday, April 26 at the Martinez station.

Take-Back Days allow the public to help prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs.

The collection site will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the service is free and anonymous -- no questions asked.
