Police Log - Young Woman Wakes Up To Find Strange Man In Her Bed

September 25

Arrest – Police arrested Miguel Armando Jimenez for suspicion of driving under the influence and having a blood alcohol content of .8 or higher.

Illegal dumping – A small red truck with a white shell was reportedly dumping illegally on Wawona Circle.

Nightmare on Warren St. – A young woman on Warren Street woke up to find a strange man in her bed. The father pushed the stranger out of the house.

Arrest – Police arrested Patricia Akolo at Morello Avenue and Arnold Drive on suspicion of driving under the influence and having a blood alcohol content of .8 or higher.

Stolen car – A car was stolen from the Lotus Apartments on Alhambra Avenue, and another a few minutes later from the Bank of America parking lot on Main Street.

Passed out – A homeowner on Elm Street and Pacheco Boulevard reported a man passed out in the front yard; police later arrested Dennis Nolan on suspicion of public drunkenness.

Stolen animal – A British Lab was reported stolen from a Hillside Drive home.

September 26

A case of two stolen cases – Someone broke the back driver side window of a car on Soto Street and stole and guitar and briefcase.

Attempted window breaking – A woman was reported trying to break the rear window ofa car on Alhambra Avenue.

Smile – A man on Northpoint Court reported that his neighbor was taking pictures of him throwing a tennis ball against the court’s common wall, and he was unsure why.

Arrest – Vincent Vanhooser was arrested outside the Lucky Grocery Store on Arnold Drive for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Coneheads – A man and three kids are reported placing red traffic cones on Macalvey Drive and Costanza Drive to block traffic.

September 27

Burglary – Tim Gamble was arrested on suspicion of burglary after he was reported taking over $800 worth of items from Walmart on Arnold Drive.

In tent – Someone was reported living in a blue tent near the Horseman’s Arena and Joe DiMaggio Fields.

Stolen purse – An Alhambra Avenue resident reported her purse stolen from her unlocked car.

Bad boarder – A young man was reported riding his skateboard on the campus of Alhambra High, after being told numerous times to leave and stay off the campus.

Packages disappeared – Two packages were reported stolen from a porch on Parkway Drive.

Shopping for open doors – A man with dark shaggy hair was seen trying to open doors to cars parked in the Hidden Creek Apartment complex on Fig Tree Lane.

Hidden Valley drive by – A man in a white van was reported shooting a pellet gun at a passerby at Hidden Valley Park.
