Police Log - Weird Panhandling Habits, Pot Smoke At The Birthday Party, Dog Bites Leg

The following information was taken from the Daily Police Log from March 4 through March 6, and rewritten by Martinez Patch.

Sunday, March 4

8:03 am – A man in a turquoise shirt and grey pants was reported in front of Wendy’s on Alhambra Avenue spitting at people and running in the street.

10:30 am – A panhandler in front of the “downtown” Safeway apparently never read the book “How To Win Friends And Influence People”: he reportedly threatened to chop off one person’s hands. That person thought it best to notify police, who had a chat with the panhandler about using better strategies. That chat apparently didn’t work, because the man was later arrested in front of Starbucks on Main Street for public drunkenness after being aggressive with patrons there.
