Thursday, Dec. 27
3:20 p.m.: A customer reported their checkbook was stolen from the Walmart store on Arnold Drive.

7:36 p.m.: Employees at the Safeway store on Alhambra Avenue reported a drunk man was punching workers in the parking lot. A cashier was hit on the side of the head. The suspect was gone when officers arrived.

2:21 p.m.: A homeowner on Monterey Avenue reported a woman was taking oranges from her tree by standing on a truck. Police arrived and solved the dispute.
Saturday, Dec. 29
2:16 a.m.: A employee at the Walmart store on Arnold Drive was arrested on embezzlement charges. Two employees were interviewed by police and a 41-year-old worker was taken into custody.
Sunday, Dec. 30
2:56 p.m.: A man was arrested at the Shell gas station on Alhambra Avenue for public drunkedness.
Monday, Dec. 31
1:44 a.m.: Three suspects were arrested on suspicion of auto burglary on Skyline Drive. A resident called police to say they saw two men breaking into three cars and then drove off in a gray Honda with a female driver. Police stopped the car and made the arrests.
1:06 p.m.: Employees at the Lucky store on Arnold Drive reported a man had stolen a cartful of groceries. The man had salt and pepper hair and was wearing sunglasses.
3:32 p.m.: A resident on Morello Heights Drive said she saw a young woman take packages off a porch, but when she realized they were filled with garbage, she tossed them all over the front lawn.
Sunday, Jan. 1
10:45 a.m.: A man reported he was confronted by another man after leaving the 7-11 store on Pacheco Boulevard. The suspect stole some jewelry and a knife.
