Art as Vandalism – A man was seen at 1 a.m. spray painting graffiti on the former Foster Freeze building on Pacheco Boulevard.

Since We’re Neighbors, Let’s Be Available – A shopper at the Virginia Hills Safeway reported that the store was open and customers were inside at 2 a.m., but despite several calls for an employee, no one appeared.

Stolen Truck – A red Toyota was stolen from a parking stall on Center Avenue.

Off Key, Off Color, Off to Jail – A man was arrested outside of Donuts and Deli on Alhambra Avenue on a charge of loud and vulgar singing.

Coming for a Visit? – A Veterans Drive resident reported that it sounded as though the neighbors were sawing through the floor.

MARCH 13

Call Him Shovel-Ready – A resident of Harbor View Drive reported a man carrying “something yellow” and a shovel, apparently surveying. The resident called later to report that the man was on his property and refusing to leave.

A Scene Out of Fast Times At Ridgemont High – A neighbor on Oak Crest Court reported two men in a black BMW were parked for 30 minutes, with smoke billowing out of the windows. One man was later arrested.

Yelling Back – A man on Orleans Drive was reported for yelling at his television.

Burglary – A laptop, GPS device and phone charger were stolen from a car parked on Dardanelle Drive.

MARCH 14

Wait for the Water – A man fell off the 18-foot wall at the new Aquatic Center.

Burglary – A home on Vista Del Diablo was broken into and jewelry and headphones taken.

Mail Theft – A Shell Avenue resident reported someone stealing mail.

MARCH 16

Six Pack to Go – Two men with a pit bull were reported stealing a case of King Cobra beer off a pallet in front of Tower Mart on Howe Road.

Thieves of Quiet – A Marie Avenue resident reported that someone stole the muffler off their car.

Flagnapping – Someone reportedly stole an American flag from a home on Berrellesa Avenue.

MARCH 17

Deer vs. Car – A deer was hit near the intersection of Alhambra Avenue and Glenview Drive.

Copper Swipe – Six to eight copper radiators were reported stolen from a front yard on Henrietta Street.

Child Endangerment – A resident reported seeing a man at a gas station shaking a baby.

Trashing the Neighborhood – A resident near Mont St. Michel Way reported a group of teens trying to knock over a trash can.

MARCH 18

When “Hold It” Should Be Taken Literally – The janitor at Martinez Jr. High School saw a man at 6:30 a.m. urinating off the school landing, then saw him three other times that morning hiding on the grounds.

A Disgusting Trend – Later that morning, another man was seen urinating on a car on Highland Avenue.

Smash and Grab – Items were stolen from a car on Kingston Court through the broken driver’s side window.

Hit and Run – A student at Martinez Junior High reported being hit by a car that fled the scene.

At Least Pay the Bills – A woman on Morella Avenue reports that her neighbor is taking her mail and keeping it.
