POLICE LOG: Gunfire, Person Covered In Blood
Police activity for Sunday, July 28 as reported by the Martinez Police Department
Martinez Police received some odd reports in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
At 1:44 a.m., there was a report of a suspicious person covered in blood in front of Marina Market on Escobar Street. The suspect was described as a white male, age 18-15, wearing an Oakland A's shirt. He was gone by the time police arrived.
Just an hour earlier, police received a report of gunfire in the area of Pacheco. The reporting party said they could also hear something being dragged and there was a smell of gunpowder in the air.
