Police Log: Fast Food Voodoo, Stolen iPad, Misbehaving on Morello Ave.

10:19am – A home on Carquinez Scenic Dr. reported a theft of a USPS delivery from their porch, which was especially painful, because the delivery was an iPad.

10:20am – A vehicle with a low camper shell contained a white male adult with brown hair near Morello Ave. and St. Germaine Lane, who was seen driving around with his pants down, doing himself a big favor. He was gone when police arrived on the scene.

5:16pm – A worker found himself stuck inside St. Catherine’s cemetery. An officer arrived and unlocked the gate.

1:23pm – A woman at the McDonald’s on Arnold Dr. was reported yelling “ketchup” repeatedly. Apparently she cut the mustard.

6:10pm – Two cars were reported racing on Alhambra Ave. near Elderwood Dr. They were gone when officers arrived.

7:16pm – A black male adult was reported standing on the corner of Ferry St. and Main St. with no shirt, pants around his ankles, yelling at people and trying to start a fight.

8:45pm – A resident of Paradise Dr. said a man came to the door and, saying he was from an alarm company doing research, asked about the resident’s ADT alarm system. The resident said the man went next door and gave that person a different story.

4:24am – Two women, pulled over for a traffic stop on Birch St., were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. One of the women was also charged with having a syringe, driving under the influence, and being in possession of stolen property.

5:44am – A resident of Pine St. reported that a party had been going on all night next door. In the morning, the resident found a van parked on his lawn.

7:31pm – A woman reported that a brown truck containing furniture from her porch drove to Highway 4. She followed all the way to McKewen Rd. where she took the exit. Apparently the truck, which was driven by a woman described as Samoan with a Hispanic man in the passenger seat, had been driving around the neighborhood looking for things to steal off porches.

6:58pm – A black male adult gave the customers and staff quite a show when he demanded a female customer order for him. When she refused, he began cursing. When he was asked to leave, he refused, instead doing voodoo. He was gone when police arrive.
