August 4

Gold is gone – Gold bracelets are reported missing from a drawer in a home on Fig Tree Lane.

Found – A black BMX bicycle was found on Isabel Drive.

No, no: You sleep in the motel – A man is reported sleeping in a green van in the parking lot of the John Muir Inn on Muir Station Road.

Lying on the railroad tracks – A woman is reported lying on the railroad tracks at the Ferry Street crossing. She is gone when police arrive.

Catalytic converter swiped – A catalytic converter was stolen from a car on Sonora Court.

August 5

Caught in the act – A man was arrested for burglary after he was caught by police trying to enter a home on Robinson Street.

Recycling recyclables – A resident of Holiday Hills Drive reported a man taking recyclables from the bins.

Dip that hurts – A woman was driving too fast when she hit a dip on Allen Street and broke her transmission, leaking transmission fluid all over the road.

No pictures, please – Four men are taking pictures of the refinery at Wickland Oil on Waterfront Road.

License to floss – A woman on Harbor View Drive reported that a toothless man came to her door and advised her that he was an agent and was checking out her house.

Somebody got her guns – A woman on Center Avenue reported that she went to her attic and realized that six of her guns were missing.

Fast charging – A woman’s purse was stolen at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Offices on Muir Road and her credit cards were used the same day.

No sirens for dinged door – A man at Carrows Restaurant on Center Avenue reported that a car next to his in the parking lot had dinged his car with the door. He wanted an officer to respond to the scene but was advised an officer would call him.

A noisy scenario – A caller complained about loud music and possibly a movie being played at Creekside Church on Fig Tree Lane; a little while later another complaint came in that the first caller was driving through the area honking his car horn.
