Police Log - Arrest In Robbery At Hidden Lakes Park

The following information was taken from the Daily Police Log and rewritten by Martinez Patch.

September 18

Loud monkey – A complaint was received about loud music coming from the Creek Monkey Restaurant around 1:15 a.m.

Loud youngsters – A noise complaint was received regarding a home on Hull Lane, in what was the sound of 10 to 15 young people screaming. The reporting party stated that it sounded like they were drinking “because of random words they are saying.”

Trunk theft – A resident of the Alhambra Manor Apartments on Alhambra Way reported that someone went through the trunk of her car, and also the interior of the car.

A clean getaway – A man reported that someone was seen at Aussie Sheet Metal loading a floor cleaner into his car. When he was yelled at, he got into his car and drove away.

Yokes on them – A home on Gregory Avenue was egged overnight.

Old yeller –
A man was reported standing outside of a house on Pacheco Boulevard yelling.

Wallet haul –
A man’s wallet was stolen out of his unlocked car that was parked out at the marina.

Up on the roof –
Four juveniles were seen on the roof of Martinez Jr. High.

Felony vandalism –
Two men were arrested on Center Avenue on suspicion of felony vandalism after they were seen cutting wires to street lights.

September 19

Public drunkenness –
A man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness after he was reported trying to break into a pickup truck on Escobar Street.

Car theft –
A car was stolen on Spring Lake Drive.

Smash and grab –
A car on Alhambra Avenue had its window broken and a purse was stolen.

September 20

Request to crash –
A woman on Alhambra Avenue heard a noise on her porch; when she opened it, a man was standing there with a bicycle, asked her for a cigarette and then asked if he could sleep there.

Life in the slow lane –
A deer was reported in the slow lane of Southbound Highway 4 at Morello.

Blowing in the wind – A resident of Ash Street complained that his neighbor’s gardeners were blowing debris into his yard.

Robbery –
A man was arrested on suspicion of robbery after it was reported that a group of men stole two bikes and cell phones and told the victims that they had a gun and would shoot them if they reported it.

Stolen Motor home –
A motor home was parked in front of a foreclosed home on Laurel Court, and it was gone when the owner returned for it.
