POLICE: Cyclist Dies In Martinez Accident
Pleasant Hill man killed in collision on Vine Hill Road
A bicyclist suffered fatal injuries in an accident on Monday evening, according to Martinez Police.
Police responded to a report of a collision at 6:17 p.m. on the 600 block of Vine Hill Road. Upon arrival, officers found a white male adult who had suffered severe injuries. He was identified as a 42-year-old Pleasant Hill resident.
The victim was transported to Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.
