Police Arrest Two Martinez Residents in Connection with Rainbow Drive Burglary

Both are being held in county jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property.

Two people have been arrested in connection with a burglary on the 1000 block of Rainbow Dr., police say.

According to a release from the Martinez Police Department, jewelry and a laptop, valued at over $20,000, were stolen from the home on Wednesday. A neighbor reported a vehicle leaving the scene and later that day, based on that information, police served a search warrant on a Estudillo Street home.

On Thursday, police received a tip that some of the stolen jewelry was being sold at a Pleasant Hill pawn shop. Martinez and Pleasant Hill police arrested 31 year-old Royal Corralejo of Martinez on suspicion of possession of stolen property. He was booked into county jail and bail was set at $20,000.
