Pacifica Pizza Robbed At Knifepoint Friday

No one was injured in the incident, and the suspect is still on the loose.

A man with a knife robbed Pacifica Pizza on Main St. Friday night and got away with an undisclosed amount of money, Martinez police say. No one was injured in the incident, and there were no customers in the store at the time.

According to a release from Martinez police, a white man between 40 and 50 years old, wearing a black and grey hoody and dark pants walked into Pacifica Pizza around 10:45 p.m., drew a knife and demanded money from the employee. After he received the money, he ordered the employee to lie on the ground, and threatened to pepper spray the employee if he didn’t comply. After that, the suspect ran west down Main St.

He was gone by the time officers arrived. If anyone has any information about the incident, please contact Detective Sgt. Glen Walkup at (925) 372-3450.
