Missing Pants, A Burned-Out Bathroom, And Carpet Micturition

October 1

Missing pants – A man is reported screaming and cursing at Martinez Jr. High School at 6 a.m., reportedly wearing no pants or underwear. He was gone when police arrived.

Bike recycled – A bicycle was stolen from the Alhambra Manor Apartments on Alhambra Way, valued at $400.

Bricks stolen – Retaining wall bricks were stolen from Rolling Hill Way.

October 2

Free breakfast – A man walked out of Golden Gate Gas on Pacheco Boulevard with a coffee and donut he did not pay for.

Gnome school – Several lawn statues, garden lamps and mailbox posts were found at John Swett School on Alhambra Valley Road.

Drunk in public – A man was arrested in Valley Convenient Mart on Alhambra Avenue after police received a call that he was in the store knocking things over. Another man was arrested at the Amtrak Station on the same charge, after he was reported lying on the steps.

Drunk driving – A woman was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving after she was reported weaving and making u-turns in the middle of the road on Reliez Valley Road.

Cart-ogrpaher – A seven-year-old boy is reported driving a golf cart with a stereo on it up and down Freda Court, making a lot of noise.

A slice of crime – A pizza delivery driver reported that a J Street resident underpaid him by $5 and refused to answer the door again.

Drunk in public – A man at Main and Ferry streets was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness when he was reported banging on store windows on Main Street and trying to start fights.

The stuff that got away – A man on Escobar Street reported that his fishing equipment was stolen from the back of his truck.

A crime of nature calling – A Vista Oaks Drive resident reported that a man pulled up to a trailer in a red Mustang and urinated on the carpet of a neighboring trailer, before driving away with another man.

October 3

Vehicle theft – A car was reported stolen from the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center on Alhambra Avenue.

Repeat fencing – A woman who was arrested earlier returned to a Pacheco Boulevard location and was reported trying to knock down a wooden gate.

No roadrunner – An injured coyote was seen sitting on the corner of Elderwood Drive and Morello Avenue. Animal Control was notified.

License to steal – A rear license plate was stolen off of a car parked at the Amtrak Station.

A burned out bathroom – A resident reported that the bathroom at Mt. View Park on Parkway Drive was damaged by fire.

Mail theft – A man on Escondido Drive and Morello Heights Drive was seen going through mailboxes. He was gone when police arrived.

Burglary – A home on Grandview Avenue was broken into and two computers, two TVs, a Playstation and 10 watches were taken.

Door to door panhandling – Two men were reported going door to door on Marina Vista asking for money.
