A 30-year-old Bethel Island resident is missing, according to the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office. He was last seen in Martinez.
Christopher Fachner of Bethel Island was last seen on Feb. 5, when he was released from county hospital, where he had been admitted the previous day for evaluation. Since then, he has neither returned home nor contacted his family.
Fachner suffers from a brain disorder, does not have his medications and is considered at-risk.
Fachner was first reported missing on Feb. 9. Area and out-of-state law enforcement agencies were notified and he was entered into the state’s missing persons database.
He is described as a white male, 6’2”, 180 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes. He was last wearing brown shorts and dark brown boots.
