Patch user Cheryll Glover was at the memorial today for slain CHP Officer Kenyon Youngstrom, who was killed in the line of duty last week during what seemed to be a routine traffic stop on I-680 near San Ramon.
Parts of Glacier Drive and Muir Road were blocked to all traffic this morning to allow for the motorcade to assemble in Youngstrom's honor. A memorial service will be held on Thursday in his hometown of Fairfield.
