Martinez Man, 34, Arrested for Allegedly Firing Gun at Neighbors

A 34-year-old man was arrested after shooting a gun at his neighbors during an argument in Martinez on Sunday afternoon, police said.

No one was injured in the shooting, which was reported at 2:28 p.m. in the 3400 block of Sentinel Drive and led to the arrest of Ramiro Mendoza.

Mendoza allegedly chased the victim and the victim's mother down the street and fired one shot at them, police said.

Officers responded and found Mendoza in front of his home.

He was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to police.
