Man Stabbed Sunday Morning In Front of Ray's Lounge

The man suffered stab wounds in the arm, but they were not life-threatening.

A man was stabbed in the arm in front of Ray’s Lounge on Ferry St. Sunday morning, according to Martinez police. The assailant got away, and the wounds are not life-threatening, police said..

A 26-year-old man contacted the police around 1:30 a.m. and said he had been in a fight in front of Ray’s Lounge with several other men. He told police that a bald man in a black t-shirt stabbed him in the arm. The victim ran toward Main St., while the assailant drove off in a red pickup truck.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident to phone Detective Sgt. Glenn Walkup at (925) 372-3450.
