Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder

41-year-old Kevin Johnson is in County Jail after being arrested on the scene.

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly attempted to stab his girlfriend early Wednesday morning.

According to a release from Lt. Jon Sylvia, police responded at 12:30 a.m. to a call for help from the condominiums on Mill Road regarding a report of a stabbing. They found a 35-year-old female with multiple stab wounds, and a neighbor on the scene giving her first aid.

Police arrested the woman’s boyfriend, 41-year-old Kevin Johnson at the scene. He was booked into county jail, police said, on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and battery of a cohabitant.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she is in critical condition.
