Two armed suspects robbed on Morello Ave. Friday night, police said.
Officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the restaurant, located at 550 Morello Ave., at 8:38 p.m., police said.
Arriving officers discovered the two suspects had fled on foot toward a freeway off-ramp with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The Morello Avenue off-ramp on state Highway 4 is less than a quarter mile from the restaurant.
A search in the area did not turn up the two suspects, according to police.
The suspects were described as tall black men wearing black hoodies and jeans. They were carrying black handguns, police said.
