One person was arrested and five others were cited during a DUI checkpoint in Martinez on Friday night, police said Monday.
Officers conducted the checkpoint in the 3700 block of Alhambra Avenue between 7 p.m. Friday and 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police Lt. Aaron Roth said.
One person was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs, as well as for possession of controlled substances and driving an unreported stolen vehicle, Roth said.
Another person was cited for driving with a suspended license and four others were cited for driving without a license, Roth said.
