Who Makes the Best Burrito In Lamorinda?

Choosing the right burrito for just the right occasion can be like choosing the right college -- you have to weigh all the factors involved and hope you make the right decision.

For its fans, the burrito is the perfect delicacy -- a neatly wrapped meal in itself. Finding just the right one can be a time-consuming pursuit for busy Lamorindans on the go, but we're lucky to have choices and even luckier to have neighbors who can make our selection easier.

We've listed several popular local spots to include in our poll -- places we've patronized ourselves. If you don't see your favorite burrito parlor be sure to mention it in our comment stream and then make sure to add a review in its Patch Places listing. Positive reviews will also be used to crown the winner in the event of a tie.

Winners get a nifty Patch certificate to hang in their shop windows and, of course, immense bragging rights. We'll announce the winner by close of business on Friday.

Here are Patch Places links (with photos, reviews and info) to each business included in the below poll:

, , , , , , ,, ,

Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be based on a point system in which poll results and Patch Place ratings are weighted equally. For full contest details, see the attached PDF with the rules. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch

La Mission on University Ave in Berkeley ---best mole burritos (2 different kinds even!) is the best around ---I know...it's a looong way away, but if anyone's is ever in the area it's a special treat. Plus, it's in an old converted Taco Bell--kinda nostalgic inside.

Duly noted and being logged as a "write in" candidate... Mucho fans invited to post their vote in the comments thread. They will be counted.

I have to agree, Mucho Wraps serves up great burritos, with interesting twists (shrimp, thai, etc.)
