Irene Jacqueline "Jackie" DeGroodt: A resident of Martinez, DeGroodt was a teacher for 21 years at Bel Air Elementary School in Bay Point. She was also active in the Concord United Methodist Church. DeGroodt died on June 26 at the age of 82.
Edward Donald Fereday: A resident of Vallejo, Fereday was a former resident of Martinez. He died June 28 at the age of 83.
