Who Do You Nominate For Martinez Citizen Of The Year?

The Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the annual honors, and wants your nominations by March 1.

The Martinez Chamber of Commerce is accepting letters of nomination for the 2011 Citizen of the Year Awards. The awards are given in the following categories: Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Young Man of the Year, Young Woman of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Service Without Borders, and Educator/Teacher of the Year.

To nominate someone for any of these categories, visit  the chamber website or contact the Martinez Chamber of Commerce for a Citizen of the Year Guideline Form. Then write a letter stating why you believe the person deserves the award. Please include your contact information and nominees contact information including address and telephone number on the letter.

The Citizen of the Year Awards Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, March 24th from 6pm – 9pm at The Martinez Event Center, 524 Main Street, Martinez, CA 94553. The deadline for all letters is March 1, 2012.
