Hidden Lakes Park in the Early Mornings

Early Morning walks at Hidden Lakes Park in Martinez.

There are some things to see at Hidden Lakes park in the early morning if you can get up.

Today taking my dog out for an early morning walk with my camera on my shoulder I got it witness a couple of great things.

The early morning dew on leaves and spider webs. The sun rising over Mount Diablo and the shadows it cast.

Then, out of nowhere a coyote! He was just walking along by the upper baseball field. My dog was very excited to see this other dog. The coyote just walked casually along just looking at us. Of course I tried to take some pictures but my dog was pulling me so I only got one semi-good picture.

But it was nice to see other wildlife in the park. I have seen deer but no pictures just yet!

Today’s sunrise was very nice. Clear with few clouds. I walked to the top of the most eastern hill and had a great view of Mount Diablo as the sun peaked over it.

Around the lakes it was all still with just a few birds and a duck. The sun was coming through the trees casting great shadows through the trees and across the lakes itself. It was a cold morning with a great sunrise. It was a treat for anyone to be out and witness what I saw.

Awesome pictures, Jason! This is one of our favorite spots, and these are the coolest pics I've seen of the park. Thanks, great job!
