November 30 through December 2 - Martinez Holiday Frolic and Snow Park - The Light Parade has been cancelled due to rain, and the activities and Santa have moved indoors to 701 Escobar Street, the former home of the Bow Rack, Friday, November 30: 1:00 to 9:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday, December 1 & 2: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. December 1 through 24 - Martinez Kiwanis is once again selling See’s Candies in two great NEW locations this year. The main store is located at 1135 B Arnold Drive in the Village Oaks Shopping Center between the Village Café and Togo’s, open daily from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm. The second location is downtown Martinez at 712 Main Street, next to Starbucks, open weekdays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.  During the 2011-2012 year the Martinez Kiwanis pledged $12,500 in academic and vocational scholarships to graduates of local high schools and awarded over $20,000 to community and youth service projects in Martinez.
