Temple Beth Hillel Religious School

Beit Hillel Midrash, Temple Beth Hillel's   Religious School, opens for the year.

Teach your children diligently.  Start your child's Jewish education early.  Let them explore the rich history and culture of Judaism.

Beit Midrash Hillel offers an exploration of Jewish history, culture and Hebrew for toddlers through B'nai Mitzvah. 

Classes for students--kindergarten through 7th grade--begin at 9:30 a.m. with a short Tefillah service giving students an opportunity to learn the structure of prayers and songs central to a Jewish prayer service.  Then they join children of similar ages in small classes to focus on specific areas of instruction

Mazel Tots, for toddlers 2 1/2 through 4 years of age.   A free thrice-per-month class introducing the major holidays and Biblical stories.  First class begins September 7th, 2014

Kindergarten through Third Grade.  Continuing instruction in understanding the concepts of Judaism.

B'nai Mitzvah, Fourth through Seventh Grade.  Religious preparation and training for Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Temple Beth Hillel is a diverse, welcoming congregation where the entire family can worship together, celebrate Sabbath and Holidays, and participate in Torah studies, adult education and social action programs.  It is the only synagogue in West Contra Costa and is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism.
