Martinez Historical Society Home Tour

On Saturday, October 12, experience the rich history of Martinez by attending the
annual Historical Home Tour.  Enjoy
walking though seven (7) private homes representing the architecture of the
late 19th and early 20th century.
Included in the Tour are the 1890 Borland House, John Muir's 1882
Italianate Victorian Home and the 1849 Martinez Adobe.

The Tour begins at the Shell Club House located
on 1635 Pacheco Blvd.
where refreshments will be provided. Shuttles to the homes are free of charge.  Tour hours are 10 am to 4 pm.

Proceeds from the tour will benefit the
Historical Society's effort to restore and reopen the Old Train Depot in
downtown Martinez
portions of which date back to 1877.
