Weiner Waves Goodbye

Also, dinosaurs that move, a day camp for kids, composing for you, and more.

Today is THURSDAY, June 16, 2011. Word on the street is that Rep. Anthony Weiner will resign today. This follows the urging of even our own mild-mannered congressman, George Miller. His statement said, "I am very troubled by Rep. Weiner’s sad and tragic actions and I believe he should resign. I think that Rep. Weiner, his family and the Congress will be better off if he addresses his personal problems as a private citizen and not as a public representative.” According to those mysterious leaks that always seem to precede any official action in Washington, D.C., Weiner is "telling friends" that he plans to resign. Good riddance to what began as a bad joke and ended up just being sad. How do you explain this to a young kid? Weiner has a child on the way. What will he tell his child about this phase of his life? Go easy into that good night, Rep. Weiner. And maybe take a break from the Internet for a while.
