Walking The Dogs - Join The Mutt Strutt
Show off your pooch at the city's pooch parade.
You and your canine friends are cordially invited to walk the walk on Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Mutt Strutt.
The city's Recreation Dept. is sponsoring the event, a canine contest of puppy-like proportions, in which prizes will be awarded for Best Name, Best Tail, Best Trick, Best Costume, and Looks Most Like Owner. All dogs must be on a leash.
The event will be held at the John Muir Amphitheater at the Martinez Marina beginning at 6 p.m. To pre-register for the event, call the Recreation Dept. at 372-3510.
